Our publishing standards

Useful guidance, with the source and the limits in view

Aura’s library is published by a management business, so the standards have to be visible: who writes and approves, which source each kind of claim requires, how fast an error is fixed, and how often each type of page is re-checked.

Who writes and approves content, by role

Every page has one accountable chain: drafted by the team, operationally reviewed by the people who do the work, approved under the founder’s standards.

Roles in the publishing process
RoleResponsibility
Dylan — FounderSets the sourcing standards and review cadence, approves corrections that change a claim, and is the named accountable editor for the library.
Aura editorial teamDrafts, reviews and updates guides, comparisons and policy pages under one byline. No outside freelancer or persona publishes under an invented name.
Service leads (chatting, marketing, streaming)Review operational claims about how the work is actually delivered, so advice matches the practice rather than the sales page.

Sourcing rules by claim type

A claim is only as strong as the class of source behind it. These are the minimum requirements; a stronger source class can always substitute.

Required source class for each claim type
Claim typeRequired source classExample
A platform rule, policy or featureThe platform’s own terms or official help documentationOnlyFans Terms of Service for account, payment and content rules
A legal, tax or advertising-claim standardA government or regulator page: FTC, IRS, eCFR, legislation.gov.uk, Companies HouseFTC guidance on substantiating earnings claims
A competitor’s offer or termsThat agency’s own public page, with the review date recordedAn agency’s published service list on its website
An Aura performance figureAura’s own anonymized account records, labeled Aura-reportedThe 5.2× chat ratio on /creator-results
A general industry numberA named published source with URL and date — or the number is not usedNo source, no number
  • Prefer official platform documentation to recycled summaries.
  • Do not invent earnings, case studies, testimonials, credentials or sources.
  • Do not treat a source’s marketing claim as independently verified performance.

Be clear about our commercial position

Service pages promote Aura. Our agency shortlists include Aura first as the publisher’s own recommendation. That order is not the result of an independent market ranking or a paid scoring system.

  • Comparisons describe the public services reviewed and link to the source.
  • An undisclosed price is unknown, not zero or more expensive.
  • Readers should ask every agency, including Aura, for a written scope and terms.

How errors are corrected, and how fast

Send corrections to dylan@aura-management.com with the page URL, the exact statement, why it may be wrong and a source we can verify. We check the evidence against the required source class for that claim type, then correct, clarify or keep the content — and record what changed. Time-sensitive platform changes jump the queue.

  • Acknowledged and decided within 5 business days; complex claims may take longer and we say so.
  • A correction that changes what a page says moves that page’s review date.
  • Do not include private subscriber records or account credentials in a correction email.

Review cadence by content type

Each content type is re-checked against its own sources on a fixed schedule, and sooner when a reader or a platform announcement forces it.

Contact for corrections

Corrections, source suggestions and disputes go to dylan@aura-management.com. The full corrections process — what to send, what happens next, and the turnaround commitment — lives on the corrections page.

Sources and review dates

The source owner’s pages establish its published guidance or offer, not an independent verification of results. Terms can change; check the current source and your account agreement.

Research a decision before you commit

Start with the relevant guide, then compare the advice with your own account and the current platform documentation.
