Corrections policy

When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open

Our guides cite living sources — platform terms, regulator pages, agency websites — and any of them can change or reveal a mistake in our work. This page explains exactly how to flag a problem and what happens next.

What to send

Email dylan@aura-management.com with “Correction” in the subject line and three things: the page URL, the exact statement you believe is wrong, and why — ideally with a source we can verify, such as the platform’s current terms or a regulator page.

  • Do not include private subscriber records, account credentials or identification documents.
  • For a broken link, send its destination and the page where you found it.
  • For a time-sensitive platform change, link the current official notice.

What happens after you send it

We check the evidence against the required source class for that claim type, as set out in our editorial policy. If the finding warrants a change, we correct or clarify the content and record the change; the page’s review date moves to reflect it. If we keep the content as written, we explain why in our reply.

  • Acknowledged and decided within 5 business days as a standing commitment.
  • Time-sensitive platform changes are prioritized ahead of that window.
  • Complex claims may take longer — we tell you so rather than stay silent.

How changes are recorded

A correction that changes what a page says updates the page itself and its reviewed date — the same discipline our methodology applies to every source-driven change. We do not silently rewrite claims: the correction and the reason travel with the reply to the person who sent it.

What we will not do

We will not remove accurate context because it is commercially uncomfortable, publish private data sent to this route, or leave a corrected claim standing without the underlying sources being re-checked.
